William Turner (1775-1851), was an English painter and graphic designer, known primarily from his romantic landscapes. He exerted a significant influence on impressionists. His favorite motifs are: thunders, storms, sunrises and sunsets. His paintings are above all about skilfull capturing of colors and light – thanks to watercolor and oil technique, artist achieved an extraordinary color and light effects.To the most famous paintings created by Turner belong: 'Sunset', 'Fall of Carthage', 'Dutch boats in a gale' and 'Snowstorm'.
